As the Marketing Program Manager, I determined core marketing messages with channel owners to further enable the global Delta Cargo field sales team. I led the content and design of sales marketing materials including fact sheets and promotional emails. I also identified B2B industry trends to better support Delta Cargo’s freight forwarder accounts.
In this role, I created press releases and external feature stories to highlight the value of Delta Cargo. I also served as a liaison between Delta’s joint venture partners including Air-France and KLM to ensure consistency amongst customers' experiences and increase Delta's brand presence in international markets. Additionally, I led the refreshing of Deltacargo.com to better inform customers of updated products and services.
As COVID-19 intensified, my role transitioned into crisis communication management. I worked with executive and regional leaders to develop a relevant social media strategy as well as news release distributions. I also created internal guidelines to ensure each Delta Cargo facility adhered to best practice guidelines from the CDC.
